Policy GuidelinesMost portable equipment will be provided as a loan. The exceptions to this are set-ups requiring manipulation of the classroom AV system which requires advanced reservation and approval and is subject to technician availability. Equipment set-ups will be provided within the Wharton School classrooms only. A 26-digit budget code is required for the reservation of any equipment. In addition, a signature is required for loans indicating responsibility for repair or replacement of any lost or damaged equipment. Equipment may be borrowed between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Loans should be picked up and returned to JMHH-F30 at the Wharton Scheduling and Facilities office. Equipment loans are daily and should be returned before the close of business the same day as your loan. Please return your loan equipment on time for the time you were scheduled to return it as it may be dedicated right away for another technology request. Overnight or weekend loans are permissible only for Academic Distributed Representatives, Faculty, or Staff upon approval. If you are unfamiliar with any of the equipment, please arrange for training ahead of time when you make your request for a loan. We will have a technician meet you in JMHH-F30 at your pick-up time to review the operation of your equipment. Our group does not arrange for flip charts should your event require them. You can contact Wharton Scheduling and Facilities to make arrangements to borrow flip charts. Depending on your event needs for flip charts, we can offer a document camera or overhead transparency projector as two useful alternatives. Equipment Loans
