Computer Display Tutorial
Sending a computer display to the projectors
- From the lectern home page, select "Computer Display" from the Quick Starts bar in the center of the screen.
- At the bottom of the next screen, select what you want to display on each screen. (Example: To display a laptop on the center screen, select "Laptop Plug-in" in the box marked "To Center Projector".)
- Once you are satisfied with your choices, touch "Activate" in the lower right-hand corner. The room will dim, the appropriate screens will be lowered, and the projectors will power on. The projectors take a little time to warm up if they have not been used within the past 15 minutes.
Using the Resident Computer
The Resident Computer is the computer built into the classroom. With it, you can access PowerPoint presentations, WebCafe materials, videos from the Wharton Video Network, and anything else you can access with a PC over the network. You must have a Wharton account to access the Resident Computer.
- Once you’ve logged into the lectern, the desktop for the computer appears in a small window on the lectern home page.
- To work directly on the resident computer using the mouse and keyboard in the lectern, tap the window.
- To return to the lectern control screen, touch the "Minimize" button in the lower right corner of the screen.
